Reading University Athletics: The Latest News and Events

Reading University Athletics Club is a relaxed, fun, and friendly club that caters to all abilities. They have long and short-distance training sessions, hold four sessions a week for various levels of training, and regularly meet for sober and non-sober socials. They encourage all abilities to run and keep fit and anyone can compete in the competitions!
Recently they have participated in cross country competitions at the London Universities League. In addition, some of their members took part in Reading Half Marathon, LUCA Indoors, and BUCS Duathlon! They are looking forward to competing against Oxford Brookes at Varsity soon, and some members are running the Reading Half Marathon in April.
The cross-country Competitions were In London against other universities. The first round of cross-country races took place on the 20th of October 2021 at Parliament Hill, The 3rd of November at Mitcham Common, and the 17th of November 2021 at Wimbledon Common. The team had a fantastic time representing Reading University at all these events and is looking forward to more races in the future!
