Starting next year, the Oracle will have a £5.7 million upgrade. A new 167 square meter glass pavilion will be built on the north bank of the River Kennet. When the project is completed early next year, Lebanese restaurant Comptoir Libanais will occupy the new building.
The Riverside has always been the jewel in The Oracle’s crown as it offers a premium destination for leisure and dining in the town centre, and Comptoir Libanais will be the latest addition to the Oracle’s vibrant line-up.
General Manager at the Oracle, Andy Briggs is delighted to announce that the Oracle is beginning its next phase of growth and they are creating a revived public space for Reading. Terraced steps by the glass pavilion will also be redesigned to create a newer and larger public performance space as a part of the million pound development.
