WattsUp? For February

1. White Castle is now accepting reservations for Valentine’s Day. What would you say to your date to make this adventure super special?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: Let’s go for a 4 hour hike before we hit up White Castle.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: “It’s just this once. I promise.”

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law: You are my Mozzarella cheese sticks!

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: Say that you’re the most beautiful being in the world- because my Valentine is me and me alone #tryingtobepositive

Farah S., 3rd Year Law: Do you want to go on a royal fast food experience with me?

2. In Valentine’s Day, Taylor Swift dates Taylor Lautner. If you were dating someone with the ‘same’ name as you, how would you like to be referred as?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: JJ, always…my middle name is too difficult to say for most.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: I have a Chinese name and so the possibility of this happening is unlikely. Erm…Tango and Juliet?

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law: The double down.

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: Chris?

Farah S., 3rd Year Law: The other half.

3. There are heart shaped Reese’s peanut butter hearts in reaction to chocolate roses. What food would you like shaped into?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: I would just love a giant cinnabun.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: Heart-shaped sushi? #LOL

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law: Something more evil than peanut butter cup and chocolate? That can only be salted caramel truffle…

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: To be honest it’s hard to top Reese’s peanut butter cups. Unless it’s Nutella. Actually, why can’t we have Nutella roses?

4. Disney films have the most perfect endings. If you were a Disney princess, which one would you be and why?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: Mulan; she was respected for not being afraid to fight for what she wants.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: OMG THIS IS LIFE’S MOST DIFFICULT CHOICE! Erm…..Merida, because she’s accurate with her targets? Or maybe Belle, because she reads a lot? No, Mulan, yes, MULAN! Because she’s brave, tough smart and speaks her mind!

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law: Mulan. I know it’s dull and common, but who wants to sit in a castle and sing everyday.

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: I’ll let you all decide.

Farah S., 3rd Year Law: Neither, too much drama.

5. A study has shown that expats in Latin America have the best love lives. What do you think they are doing over there that makes it so amazing?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: They have Latin blood fuelled with passion and fire; maybe it’s the Jalapeños adding spice to their lives 🙂

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law: There are Brazilians.

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: All the good vibes.

Farah S., 3rd Year Law: I guess its in their blood.

6. Animals have been proven to release a ‘love hormone’ called oxycotin rising hormones when interacting with their owners. Dogs were tested after playing with levels up to 57% and cats have increased up to 12%. Any defence for cat lovers out there?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: Cats are smart; they don’t just want to please their owners, they want to be petted too.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: Not for me. 😛

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law:  The love from cats are a subtle one, it’s more of spiritual interactions….okay I just love cats whatever lol

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: Defending a cat? The Mackinder cat scratched through my jeans last year and I still hold a grudge.

7. Valentine’s Day is all about the colour pink. What is the funniest holiday to be themed pink?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: Halloween; imagine every costume in every shade of pink.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: Christmas!

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law:  Qingming probably…tomb-sweeping day in English.

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: Valentine’s- That’s right, I’m slightly cold inside.

8. Grease has recently put on a live show changing the lyrics of the famous song “Grease Lightning” from “pussy wagon” to “dragon wagon”. What would you change this famous lyric to, making it more family friendly?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: Honey wagon?

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law:  You know that ain’t no fear, we’ll be getting lots of gear in Grease Lightning. (Nothing is better than the old one why should we change it?)

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: What do you mean??? “Pussy Wagon” is such a family friendly term- it’s a cat!

9. This year, February has an extra day. If you were born on the 29th, how would you make your birthday party this year extra special?

JJ T, 2nd Year, Business and Management: I’d book the catering so it would be cuisines of the world so there would be endless supply of incredible food for all the guests.

TJ Hiew, 3rd Year Law: Play a prank on a guy by having a girl to propose to him.

Wing Lam Kar, 3rd Year Law: Everyone please give me four year amount of presents!

Christopher J L., 3rd Year Law: Tell everyone that I’m legally only 5 years old. And see if I can make my way into 360 without getting stopped by the bouncers.

Farah S., 3rd Year Law: Go on a cruise for 29 days, or probably just get a cake (that’s cheaper).
