To look for a well dressed, heel-friendly venue in Reading can often be more difficult than it seems. The classiest of which, MIX Cocktail Bar, Pitcher and Piano, Malmaison and the like, will almost certainly never appeal to your student bank balance. And, inevitably, as much as our favourite heels would fit in nicely at the Union, I  feel that Topshop’s finest sling-backs need somewhere a little more welcoming…
