Winter Bath Edition

Issy 1

BY EMILY LEWIS

Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Honey Bath:

Perfect for this season is the fruity and sweet scent of the Fresh Fig Honey Bath by Laura Mercier. It also has a slightly woody fragrance, creating the ultimate comfort for those dark autumnal and winter nights. The packaging comes with a honey dipper which, I feel, adds an extra feature to make bath time feel that much more luxurious! At around the £30 mark, it is a stretch of most students’ budgets, but it does last a long while depending on how many baths you take (of course) and I haven’t yet found a product that makes me feel as cosy in the bathtub as this does so it definitely deserves a place on your Christmas list.» >

Beauty Products I Cannot Live Without!

Beauty Product I Cannot Live Without
AMY GASTMAN
There is nothing more testing on the skin than a weekend away at a music festival. Hot tent air, rain and what I can only hope is flying beer are just some of the hurdles your vulnerable pores must overcome. So at the 2012 Reading Festival, when I accidentally left my trusty makeup bag at home, the beauty products I could not live without became oh so clear.
Coming in at a joint second came Benefit’s Porefessional Primer (£24.50 Boots) and MAC’s Cremblend Blush in Ladyblush (£18) – for me these two products work in harmony with one another to create the perfect “I’m-wearing-hardly-any-makeup” face (perfect for festivals, and even better for everyday university wear).» >

Beauty Dupes!

Beauty Dupes

EMILY GLANFIELD

Especially, as students, money is short and savings are great wherever you can find them. Here are three really cheap and seriously good make-up dupes for a few of the top, raved about products in the beauty world.
First up is the Nars Blush, known for its beautiful range of colours and amazing pigmentation, but at £21 it goes way above the student budget. Rimmel Lasting Finish Blush is an excellent and much cheaper substitute and still looks amazing.» >
