Especially, as students, money is short and savings are great wherever you can find them. Here are three really cheap and seriously good make-up dupes for a few of the top, raved about products in the beauty world.
First up is the Nars Blush, known for its beautiful range of colours and amazing pigmentation, but at £21 it goes way above the student budget. Rimmel Lasting Finish Blush is an excellent and much cheaper substitute and still looks amazing. At only £3.99, it is an amazing bargain. The colour ‘Santa Rose’ is a beautiful bronzey, pink toned blush which is very similar to the Nars ‘Orgasm’ Blush.
Another beauty favourite for many are M.A.C lipsticks; gorgeous consistency, great moisture and beautiful colour and you can pick up the popular colour ‘Crème Cup’ for a huge £15! Or you could try Maybelline’s Colour Sensational in the colour ‘Born With It’ for half the price at just £7. It still provides a pretty soft pink colour that lasts really well.
The Urban Decay Naked Palette is always raved about on all the beauty blogs and it is stunning with really strong pigment, gorgeous neutral tones and a pretty good brush to go with it. However, the £36 price tag is slightly off-putting. Luckily, Sleek have come up with the I-Divine ‘Storm’ palette that is an excellent £7.99 and also provides gorgeous neutral colours with great pigmentation too! However, you would need to buy a different brush as the Sleek brush isn’t very good quality, but it is still definitely worth the money.
If you try any of these products, you will realise that there is no need to splash out on expensive make-up when you can buy these drugstore dupes for less than half the price!
