‘Moone’ – Credit Bandsoc
We are bandsoc! The society for live music lovers, bands, and gig goers! Over the years we’ve helped members find other music enthusiasts to form bands with and then found gigs for them to play around the local area! Some of the most notable bands to have formed thanks to bandsoc include: Millionaire’s Dance Party, Moone, Other Animals, Bridge to Somewhere, Gloom, plus many more.

You can now catch these bands performing in local music venues such as Oakford Social Club, Up The Juction, and Perk, to name a few. If playing instruments is not your thing, this society is also for concert fiends to find new mates with the same love of music as them, and for finding gig mates to go with to see that band you’ve always wanted to see.
On top of all this, we hold regular socials to some of the coolest bars and venues around Reading so members can experience the best of the Reading music scene. Bandsoc has something for every music lover and welcomes all new members into the liveliest society Reading has to offer! Our taster sessions will be held on the 22nd and 27th of September and everyone is welcome to come along!
