The Week after: what went down at Reading Fest

90,000 plus spectators packed into the iconic Richfield Avenue campsite to start a weekend of crazy antics and enjoy the wealth of talent on show on the Main Stage that saw Kendrick Lamar, The Courteeners, Jhus and other top names deliver electrifying sets whilst the smaller setup on the BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Radio One Music stages certainly made up for the gaps in the daily lineup and anticipation for the very best under Festival Republic.» >

Reading Fever

Performing her chart-topping singles ‘New Rules’ and ‘IDGAF’ as well as her collaboration tune with Calvin Harris ‘One Kiss’, the pop-sensation showed the packed Reading crowd how to party in style on Saturday.

Taking to the stage just after 5 o’clock, the 2018 Brit award-winning ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ didn’t break a sweat throughout and under the bright lights, made it look easy. 

Making a powerful entrance to start with another banger in ‘Blow Your Mind’, it made for very energetic set which reciprocated from the 90,000 or so, onlookers.» >

Reading Fest Highlights

After a long and crazy weekend at Reading Festival 2018 this weekend, we finally have time to sit down and reflect on some of the many highlights which took place. It was an honour to attend the festival on behalf of The Spark where we met other great members of the media and watched so many amazing performances from both prominent and rising artists…
